Hmmm new rug?

See that fabulous curtain panel on the left... I am almost done sewing all that beautiful fabric into some good lookin' curtains.....
And see this not so good lookin living room.... well this is what I am working with right now! I trying to transform it one step at a time!
Anyways, I was browsing around on Pottery Barn's lovely website trying not to enter my debit card number when I came across this baby!!!!! It's a jute rug.... that's on sale! Holler!

This is what that great rug looks like in a professionally designed room!

So now the big dilemma..... should I buy said rug? Hmmm I'm not sure if it will be too much red...... maybe I should go with a nice cream soft one? I just don't know???? Well, please ladies.... help me.... give me your advice! I would love some right about now!!!

Busy Busy

I love being busy! When I'm not busy I'm bored..... boredom turns into being lazy and me being lazy isn't good for anybody! So, I surround myself with a million things that need to be done or taken care of! Here's the things that I am working on finishing, getting half way through or even starting around our little home!

This lovely pillow case is from Pottery Barn! I picked up two of them for $13 each! Yay! They look good with the news drapes (more pictures to come when I get them completely sewn) and the couch! Holler!
This baby was delivered to my front door.......
What could it be you ask......

A set of pink chairs for my oldest, Teagan Claire! She fell in love with the table and chair set at PB Kids and I thought
"What a perfect grand finale gift for Christmas!"
So here it is at my house with a white table just waiting for Christmas time!

Here's what it looked like at the store..... just not the right colors for the girls!

My current project..... doing a garage sale this Saturday! Cause seriously look at this garage... its a bit ridiculous! lol

Today I am in the process of separating baby clothes. There's nothing worse than rummaging through a million and one pieces of little girls clothing ranging from newborn to 2T so I wanted possible shoppers to be happy and have separate bins for each size! Yay for me! Anywho, I am hoping to get rid of a majority of the items for sale..... the rest will go to the Goodwill and that way the hubs and I can get started on having a OCD garage! I can hardly wait!
So here's more things going on:
  • My firstborn is getting ready to go to preschool! I know its just preschool.... kinda like daycare but I will inevitably cry....... it's going to happen so I am preparing myself! lol
  • Still hoping and praying that we will move to Pennsylvania!
  • Trying to finish the garage
  • Fixing my sewing machine
  • Looking for a new insurance company
  • Building out the pantry
  • Painting all of downstairs walls
  • Wishing my husband gets the hint and gets me a Cricut Expression machine
  • Organizing the girls closets
  • Buying wood laminate flooring for our dining/living room

I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but that's enough to wrap my head around!!!!!!

Have a blessed day!

Lots going on!!!!!!!!!!!

Well well........ things are happening around the Byers house! First of all ever since I happened upon the blogs 320 Sycamore and The House of Smiths I have started a fire under myself and started to redecorate the whole house!!!! I have a tendency to start a million projects at one time so I'm slowing down and making a to do list so I can get everything accomplished! My official deadline is December 1st! I think it might help making it known to the blogging world that I have a definite deadline.... maybe I will feel somehow responsible, after all I wouldn't want to let my two readers down! lol I crack myself up!

Anyways, on top of my decorating re-no I was told by the hubs that there is a slight and small possibility of moving from this small Wyoming town to a small Pennsylvania town! Why am I so excited? Well for one the state of Pennsylvania is smaller than Wyoming sooooo the regular 6 hours drives that I make ever so often to reach the nearest Pottery Barn in Denver would be a lot easier in Penn state! There's more people, more things to do, New York would be a train ride away from us, and but most of all it would be our chance to get away from the crazy in laws and live our own beautiful little life! All the possibilities excite me and I'm praying that 1) it is in God's plan for us and 2) that if God wants us there that it happens soon! East Coast here I come and watch out I'm bringing a cowboy with me!!!

PS: There will be more pictures to come of the redecorating! My current project is building shelves in the pantry!
