So after looking at so many blogs I decided that I needed a fresh and bright update for my house. This is the accent wall in the kicthen. Though I love red.... the red wall was too much for the small space. This is just a start to the updates! Let me know what you think!

The entertainment center.....

Here's my inspiration from Pottery Barn......
We bought this piece from ole Wally World..... after not being able to find anything else that had the look we wanted. This is not a long term piece either but until something better comes along I thought I could make the gal a little prettier!
A couple coats of red that matched our drapes....

and presto! This is what she looked liked after a little "aging"! I actually kind of like it! I would love to take better pictures but unfortunately I left my camera at my mom's house four hours away! lol so this is all I got!

So I am a huge fan of Pottery Barn..... their prices however, not so much! So I am redecorating my living/dining room and came across these pics and thought these could be some inspiration for the new digs!

The panel on the left is the potential new fabric for my living/dining room drapes..... and the fabric on my is already made into drapes and hanging on the walls. However I need to pick just one....hmmmm.... I can't decide so please comment and help me!

Help... decorating dilemma!

So I have this problem where I can never settle on a decorating style because I fall in and out of love with things very quickly. Well, a few months ago I found some fabric at hobby lobby that had all the colors of my house in them, but there wasn't something quite right about them..... then I found this red damask fabric at Walmart (can't believe I found it there!!!!) I love it!!!!!! However, I am going back and forth on whether or not I should buy the fabric and make new curtains! That's where you come in! Please help me by giving me your opinions..... I'm trying to figure out whether it will bring in enough color and brighten it up or if i should keep the old ones! Thanks for your help!

My babies

These are my girls! We had some great family pictures taken by a very talented local photographer and I can't not say enough how thrilled I was by the outcome! They turned out so beautiful..... I'm trying to download all the pictures on to my blog but apparently it is going to take for ever so here's one of my favorites with more to come!

Family Pictures

I met this great photographer through a moms group in my town and was lucky enough to have her take some family pictures! I'll be posting the rest of the angelic pictures here soon but for now I had to post this one of my hubbers and my baby girl Taylor Grace! She is so sweet..... there is nothing like a cowboy and his baby girl!

I recovered this chair after considering throwing it into our garage sale! I haven't made up my mind about the fabric...... to grandma-ish? Maybe I should find something lighter and not so khaki! Lol let me know what you think!

My home

I love decorating and really admire women who are so great at it! Sometimes I'm not quite sure whether I hit the mark in my own home though! I wanted to post pictures in hopes that A): some lovely women that have great taste would help me with my house and B): that someone might follow me if for no other reason then they pity me! lol So please ladies comment as much as you would like..... let me know what you think and how I could improve the look of my home!!!!
